Trinity West Elementary

Principal's Message

Mr. Charles Chairge

PRINCIPAL

Welcome to Trinity West Elementary!

I'm CJ Chairge, and I’m proud to begin my second year as principal of Trinity West. After an incredible first year getting to know our students, families, and staff, I’m excited to continue building on the strong foundation we’ve established. This year, my focus is on deepening relationships, supporting academic growth, and expanding our efforts to ensure every child feels seen, supported, and successful.

My journey in education began at Misericordia University in Dallas, PA, where I earned my Bachelor of Science and certifications in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (PK-12). I later completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership at Western Governors University. Over the years, I’ve served in a range of roles—from paraprofessional to Middle School Life Skills Support Teacher at Norwin School District, Principal and Supervisor of Special Education with the Intermediate Unit 1 Campus at Waynesburg, and Middle School Assistant Principal at Elizabeth Forward School District. These experiences have shaped my perspective and strengthened my commitment to a student-centered approach.

At Trinity West, we remain committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and academically enriching environment where all students can thrive. I believe deeply in the power of collaboration and open communication. As we enter this new school year, my goals include strengthening academic programming, enhancing social-emotional support, and continuing to build a school culture where kindness, responsibility, and growth are celebrated every day.

As a proud resident of Trinity, I understand and value the importance of our community’s role in education. My wife, daughter, and I (along with our four dogs and cat!) are honored to call this area home, and I take great pride in serving the families who make up our school community.

I invite you to be an active part of Trinity West. Whether through volunteering, sharing ideas, or simply staying connected, your involvement plays a vital role in our collective success. Thank you for trusting us with your children.

I look forward to another year of partnership, progress, and possibility.

Respectfully,

CJ Chairge
Principal, Trinity West Elementary
